Running from local file system
General suggestion is to run a local server (easy enough on a non-mobile device with, say,
python -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000 but more complicated with a mobile device--I seem to have success with "KWS" app but it has limitations and isn't ideal).
Browser (e.g. Chrome) based:
- "THREE.js - Can't load texture locally" (Suggests base64 encoding images as an option.)

- "Google-chrome can't locally view my webGL Three.js webpages in Ubuntu"
- "THREE.js - Cannot load texture locally in Chrome Browser in Android device"
